The Tampa Bay 56ers contribute financially and materially to many fine organizations in our
community.  Some of the organizations that we helped in the past few years include:

F.E.A.S.T. - a food pantry located in Palm Harbor, FL.  Members bring non-perishable food items to each
meeting which are donated to F.E.A.S.T.

Neighborhood Family Center, Safety Harbor, FL.  The Tampa Bay 56ers sponsored a needy family for the
Christmas holiday.  In 2008, our club donated over $1,000.00 of clothing and toys to a special family.  The
family consisted of a grandmother and four young children.

Metropolitan Ministries, Tampa, FL. - Our club donated $500.00 to help provide Thanksgiving dinners to
needy families.

Girls Scouts - The Tampa Bay 56ers sponsored three Girl Scouts from Pinellas County to go summer
camp.

Explorer Troop of Pinellas Park, FL - donation of $400.00

S.P.C.A. Tampa Bay - donation of $500.00

Toys for Tots - donations of $1000.00 in 2009 and $1500.00 in 2010.  Members also help with the
collection and sorting of donated toys.

National Farm Workers Ministries - donation of $500.00

Pinecrest Place Retirement Community - In 2010, members built a Department 56 Dickens Village and a
Holy Land display in their library for residents to enjoy during the holiday season.

The Tampa Bay 56ers continue to support many other worthy charities throughout the Tampa Bay region.
