Tampa Bay 56ers on Aug. 28 as they take a trip to visit one of the most
invitation to view what is probably the largest railroad display in Florida.
This is a rare opportunity to witness the behind the scences of buiding such
a display.
"Fowlers Dream" is a museum-quality O-gauge model railroad layout in
Tarpon Spring, FL having a projected finish size of over 4000 square feet.
While it is still a work in progress, there are currently 25 engines, mostly
Lionel and Williams MTH units in the layout.
This layout with all the trains and spectacular scenery has even caught the
attention of powers-to-be over at Walt Disney World as a possible future
home for this massive display.
One of our own club members, Carol Williams, has been working alongside
other members of the team as they strive to finish this monumental task.
Parking is very limited at "Fowlers Dream", so we have made other
arrangements. Club members will be meeting at Elaine Fezzlers home and
will car pool from there to the site. We will leave from Elaines at 8:00 AM.
